Australian Open 2025 LIVE updates: Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev in men’s singles showdown, women’s doubles decided

It’s a little while before tonight’s men’s final takes to the court, but fans are already filling up the Melbourne Park grounds.
Sisters Lu and Franca Banco will be cheering for Jannik Sinner, if you couldn’t tell from the Italian flags and streamers.

“We’ve got Italian heritage. Our family [in Italy] are very jealous we’re here,” Lu said, before adding with a laugh: “I get to watch Sinner again, so I kind of feel like I’m his good luck charm.”
The sisters have been here since the gates opened at 2pm, securing the highly sought-after front row at Garden Square.
“It’s going to probably be more fun out here than in [Rod Laver Arena], because at least here out you can scream without getting yelled at,” Lu said.
And did they ever consider booking tickets inside the arena to watch the big match? “Maybe if I sold a kidney,” Franca said.
