Australian Open 2025 LIVE updates: Champion Sinner to part with Aussie coach Cahill; Sabalenka, Alcaraz, Djokovic chase title

It might just be the breakfast of champions – porridge, an egg-white omelette, followed by a protein bar and coffee.
That is the go-to meal for Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka before a grand slam morning match. Today she clashes in the third round against Dane Clara Tauson, a match scheduled to start at 11.30am on Rod Laver Arena.

Sabalenka listed off the ingredients during a press conference on Wednesday, saying she likes to finish breakfast about 90 minutes before a morning game.
Another thing she would like, she said, would be to see a Belarusian flag next to her name during her grand slam matches – the country’s symbol has been banned at the Open since key ally Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022.
“I have no control over that,” she said. “I can’t just go out there and push someone to have a flag next to my name. It is how it is.
“But I was always proud to represent Belarus in terms of, you know, it’s a small country and I made it from a very small country. It’s not like I was practising in the States or in Spain,” she said.
“If they’re going to bring it [Belarus flag] back, I’m going to be happy. If not, it’s OK.”
Last year’s Australian Open winner and No.1 seed is expected to beat Tauson even though it is the first time the pair have met.
